Oya Oya, is a Yoruba expression meaning, “it’s time, let’s go, come on”…you get the picture. This track is a rough draft, I put down a verse from another song called Strictly for my people. (If you don’t know that tune, let me know in the comments below and I’ll upload that too). This was produced by my big brother Dele Sosimi. Amazing Afro beat musician, he used to play keys with Fela Kuti back in the day. We’ve toured, done shows together and he has the most amazing family, as in wife and children are just all beautiful and amazing. I love them all. Keep checking for new tunes every Thursday. The FREE EP is on its way

The togetherness of this track, obviously the musical as well as creative brilliance of BREIS’s lyricism and patterns on the rhythm immediately drives you to lift yourself up, dance, repeat ‘Oya Oya’, enjoy as well as smile. Tradition of coming together and enjoying the now WHATEVER the occasion is one thing that can be derived from a deeper plan and I commend you on this enlightening beautiful piece … I will make room for more … ‘Oya Oya’ …where are they? 1L♥♪♫ [Imela]
