This laid back, soulful collaboration between myself and the amazing Joy Jones is one of the songs featured on “The Moving On Project” out soon. This track is all Joy’s. She came up with the creative mermaid and sea sons concept. Looking at love from an aquatic perspective. The ebb and flow of love, relationships, the resistance we come up against when trying to find or understand each other. Produced by Daz-I-Kue, (keys by Kaidi Taithum) it even sounds like the music was made under water. Joy smashes it with a rap verse too (sister has skills!!) and even encouraged me to sing at the end too. Where we offer a unified love manifesto if you will.
