Ghana Independence Day

6 Mar

The first sub Saharan African country to gain independence on 6th March 1957 was GHANA formerly known as The Gold Coast. The most prominent of advocates for this was Dr Kwame Nkrumah. I applaud the vision of this man and all he wanted to do, not just for his country but for all of Africa. He was a visionary, a man thinking outside the box and sometimes misunderstood as a result. A true leader. Here are a few celebratory tunes.
